This July marks a milestone that's incredibly special to me.
Ten years ago, I opened the doors to my very first bridal shop.
It was a huge leap, driven by a love of collecting and designing beautiful dresses and a dream of creating a bridal experience that felt personal, relaxed and completely centred around each bride.

Looking back, it's amazing to think about everything that's happened within these two shops we have had over the last decade. Thousands of appointments, hundreds of dresses made for brides, endless fittings, happy tears, excited families, and so many unforgettable moments.

To every bride who has walked through our doors, trusted us with such an important part of her wedding journey, and supported my small business over the last ten years, thank you. It truly means the world to me and my team.
Bea inspired our love for embroidery when she asked us to embroider her wedding dress 10 years ago.
Natalie inspired us to recycle and redesign samples when she asked us to add our own creative vision to her sample dress.
Our first mantra and first bride to wear my own design was my sister in Feb 2017.
A Very Special Anniversary Celebration
To celebrate ten years of owning our bridal shop, I wanted to give something back.
One 2027 Story of My Dress bride will receive her wedding dress completely complimentary.

Book your bridal appointment during July or August 2026.
If you find your dream Story of My Dress gown and say "yes", you'll automatically have your name entered into our anniversary prize draw.
At the end of August, one lucky bride will be chosen at random (filmed and shared) to receive her wedding dress completely free.
We will refund your deposit (must be paid to order gown) and we'll simply clear the remaining balance.
No forms to fill in. No codes to remember. Just book your appointment, find your dress and you're in.

Owning a small business is a journey filled with highs, challenges and moments you'll never forget.
Reaching ten years with our own bridal shop feels like something worth celebrating, and I wanted to share that celebration with the brides who continue to support us.
Every gown is still designed with care, made in our studio and fitted with the same attention to detail that inspired me to open the shop ten years ago.
This giveaway is simply my way of saying thank you, while celebrating an anniversary that means so much to me.
