June is one of our favourite times of year in the studio. Wedding season is in full swing, our brides are collecting their gowns, and we’re helping newly engaged brides begin their dress journey.

At Story Of My Dress, every wedding dress is made to measure in our Kent studio. Unlike many bridal boutiques, your dress is designed, made and fitted by the same small team you’ll meet throughout your journey.

When you visit us, you’ll enjoy a private appointment where you can explore our collection, try different silhouettes and discuss any changes you’d like to make. Because we make everything ourselves, many of our designs can be adapted to create a look that feels completely your own.

Designer & Vintage Sample Sale – Saturday 14th June

We’re also opening our doors for a very special Designer & Vintage Sample Sale on Saturday 14th June.

This event is designed for brides who:

* Already have a good idea of what they’re looking for

* Are working to a tighter budget

* Have a shorter engagement

* Are happy to compromise on size, fabric or details to secure an incredible dress at an exceptional price

Most dresses will be £500 or under, with a carefully curated collection of original vintage gowns and designer samples available.

Important Information

This event is different from our usual bridal appointments.

Sample sale dresses are:

* Mostly sizes 8–12

* Limited to one-off pieces

* Available to take away or reserve immediately

* Suitable for brides who are ready to make a decision

Many of the dresses can still be altered, redesigned or customised by our in-house team, helping you achieve a more personal look while keeping within budget.

To ensure every bride receives plenty of time and attention, we have just five appointments available for the day.
